A poster to raise funds to support Charity: Water who's mission is to bring clean and safe drinking water to every person in the world.

The right to accessible, clean and safe water is a basic human right.

Every time I travel in India I am endlessly inspired by the talents of sign painters. India awoke in me the love of three dimensional type, drop shadows and bright colors. Can there be too many typographic styles on a poster? No way!

This poster features line work inspired by abstract designs the nomadic Rabari people from the region of Kutch in Gujarat. Rabari women embellish their garments with exquisite mirrored embroidery wrought with deep meaning and power. On the bottom of the poster is a graphic inspired by a representation of a woman carrying water. Women might embroider a water carrier on her clothing to bring the blessing of water to her and her village. So too, I hope this water carrier brings the same to the people who's lives will be transformed by Charity Water projects.
